Welcome, I'm Janice Aponte, a Chicago-based visual artist and founder of AponteArt Gallery. My work moves between portraiture and evocative landscapes, guided by intuition, texture, and vibrant expression.
Deeply inspired by my Puerto Rican heritage I explore themes of identity, emotion, and human connection. Through both my studio practice and my gallery, I create spaces where art speaks, stories unfold, and community comes together.
