Welcome, I'm Janice Aponte, a Chicago-based visual artist and founder of AponteArt Gallery. My work moves between figurative paintings and evocative landscapes, exploring identity, memories, culture and human connection.

 

Deeply inspired by my Puerto Rican heritage, my work is guided by intuition, texture, color and storytelling.

  Through both my studio practice and gallery, I create spaces where art speaks, stories unfold, and community comes together.
