Created for “Progtastic: The Art of Progressive Rock” at The Hive Gallery & Studios in Los Angeles, Flaming Heart was inspired by the iconic song “Owner of a Lonely Heart” by Yes. Rather than illustrating the song literally, the painting interprets its emotional core through a serene blue female figure and her burning heart suggesting vulnerability, solitude and passion.
The work was exhibited as part of the 2026 progressive rock themed exhibition curated by JC Baez.
