Frida Broken Dreams.
I went through many emotions while creating this art piece, Especially while painting Frida as a child. I wanted to capture Frida’s turbulent life, although it was painful, so much beauty emanates from her work. I guess sometimes life’s suffering can take us to a spiritual level where all is beautiful, beauty is created from that pain as you come out of it or process it. Frida was so complex and we see this in her body of work.
In her work, I feel her pain but also I see the beauty and her love.
For this piece, I drew inspiration from her work and life.
