The colors of my hair are stages, changes she has experienced in her life, each color and symmetrical shape is an experience in her life.  Woman change their hair when they go through emotional changes.  This is true for many of us.  We may experience a break up, a divorce, a loss of some kind, we change our hair as a symbol of letting go of the old and welcoming a new beginning.
